21. 예전에는 ~었는데 지금은 ~~

* used to ~ 예전에는, 전에는

* hardly do something anymore 지금은 더 이상 거의 ~하지 않다

 

예전에는 운동을 꽤 규칙적으로 했었어.

I used to exercise quite regularly.

근데 지금은 그럴 시간이 없어.

But now, I just don't have the time (to exercise).

이제는 (더 이상) 거의 운동을 하지 않아.

I hardly exercise anymore.

 

예전에는 영화를 보러 극장에 자주 갔었어.

I used to go to the movies quite often.

근데 지금은 영화를 그냥 티비나 컴퓨터로 봐.

But now I just watch movies on my television and on my computer.

그냥 그게 더 편해.

It's just more convenient.

 

이 동네는(지역은) 예전에 인기가 많았어.

This area used to be very popular.

사람들이 여기로 놀러 엄청 많이 왔었어.

A lot of people used to hang out here.

근데, 왜 그런지 모르겠어. 지금은 그렇게 인기가 없어.

But, I don't konw why, now It's not so popular anymore.
